Renato and Haiza are a faithful family who are deeply involved in their church and always willing to help others in their community. They have lived with honesty, humility, and love, working hard to build a safe and beautiful future for their son. Today, they are the ones in need of support, prayers, and compassion. Renato has been faithfully following every legal step required to remain in the United States. In fact, just last week, they attended an immigration appointment to complete the final stage of his green card process. Despite doing everything the right way, Renato was arrested by ICE while leaving home to take his son to daycare. This sudden and heartbreaking moment has left his wife alone to care for their little boy while urgently trying to gather the financial resources needed for Renato’s immigration bond, legal representation, habeas corpus filing, and all related court fees. Renato has now been transferred to a detention facility in Jacksonville, Florida, and we are praying and hoping to secure his release before any deportation proceedings move forward. The Oliveira family is doing everything they can to bring Renato home, but the costs are overwhelming. The funds raised will go directly toward immigration bond expenses, attorney and legal fees, and all related court costs.
