Help Bring Rayvin Home

Donation protected
My name is Amber. On Friday, March 16th my beautiful beloved little sister, Rayvin passed away under tragic circumstances. She was with someone who left her all alone when she was in need and her beautiful, precious body was found the next day when it was too late. We didn't know for 3 days.

We are incredibly devastated. She was so sweet, loving, funny, bright, creative, talented, friendly and deserving of so much more! She could draw, sing, write, act, teach. She was an amazing skier and considered going to the Olympics. She could and did make her own clothing and jewelry. She was incredibly self sufficient.

During the pandemic she bought an industrial sewing machine to make masks for the company she worked with and didn't come home for The Holidays because she wanted to make quota. She felt she was doing necessary work. Everyone who she came into contact with loved her instantly. Look at how she loved our late Grandmother who we just lost 10/3/21 suddenly to stomach cancer. I know this loss weighed heavy on my Rainbow.

She went to LA nine long years ago to try to make a new life for herself and was mistreated at every turn by roommates, boyfriends and more. We were trying to get her home recently and she was ready. This tragedy is so extreme. Across her chest at the end of her beautiful life were the words "TRUST NO ONE". I had no idea that life was that difficult for her in LA. She just explained her communication gaps away as work commitments and not continuous pain.

Rayvin deserved so much love and couldn't get it. Her life was filled with turmoil from the beginning but she only showed Love and Light and that's why we called her Rainbow. She was born in Staten Island, New York to a single mother of 6. Amber, Christian, Jesse, Kiazi and Aurora are her siblings and we are all in extreme pain. She was the most bubbly, silly, funny of all of us. With several aunt's, uncles, cousins, adopted family and friends throughout the state as she also lived upstate in Woodstock as a teenager. We are all here in New York. Her home is here. We obviously cannot all afford to travel to LA on short notice with a roundtrip ticket starting at $500 each but perhaps if we could raise enough we may be able to bring her to us. She should get to come home one more time.

We need help to properly say goodbye. If you could please assist us in anyway toward the transportation of her body from Los Angeles as well as a funeral service and cremation please do. If you can donate flyer miles we would graciously accept that as well.

We are told it can be upwards of $20,000+ in total and we do not have any of that money and time is against us since it took so much time to find her family so she could be identified. We do not want to have her cremated out of convenience.

We want to be able to give her in death what she was robbed of in life. We want her surrounded by people who love her. If we cannot afford to bring her here to New York we will repurpose your donations to travel as many of us as possible there to be with her.

Anything that is left over will be used to create Raven's Rainbow Foundation which will focus on remedies for mental health, companionship, resources for diverse adversity often faced by low income and minorities, community centers and more. Her death will never be in vain.

Thank you for your love and light. I hope no one will ever know this pain. The whstifs, regret and guilt are tremendous and it comes in waves. She was my Little Sister and it feels awful to have failed her. Please help me protect her now as I should have when she was still on this plane.

We are also seeking justice to find the person who was with her and left a fake note which has now led to LAPD Homicide Division to become involved which is even worse news. We don't know what role he played but we know that he had several days where the police were not properly respecting Rayvin's life and let him disappear. If you could please share her story so that she can receive the justice she truly deserves.

She was truly the best of us. Call those you love especially when they push you away. They need you the most. You don't want to know what it feels like to be too late.
