We’re reaching out with exciting news about our graduate thesis Film, Night Feeds, a psychological body horror that we are making in our final year at The American Film Institute (AFI). This project is deeply personal for our team, and we’re passionate about telling a story that is both chilling and socially impactful. But we need your help to make it happen.

"Night Feeds is a psychological body horror following a sleep-deprived new mother fearing for her baby’s safety as she cycles through night and day, nightmare and reality seamlessly.

With a total budget of $50K for a 5-day shoot in February 2025, we’ve already raised $20K thanks to the incredible support of AFI Donors! We do however still need to raise additional funds up to $30K to cover essential costs for location fees, talent, and special effects makeup. That’s where you come in. We’re launching this crowdfunding campaign to bring the final pieces together, and we’d be so grateful if you could contribute to the cause.

This isn’t just another horror movie. Night Feeds is a film about survival, fear, and motherhood. The genre allows us to explore these themes in a visceral and gripping way, while also shedding light on systemic issues that affect women and marginalized communities in their postpartum.

Our writer/director, Rana Roy, draws from her own experience as a new mother to craft a narrative that is both terrifying and relatable. This story is for every mother who has ever questioned her own sanity, for every woman who has been ignored or dismissed, and for every parent who has ever feared for the safety of their child.
