My name is Anagrace Mendes, and I am organizing this fundraiser to support Rafael Viana and his family.

Rafael is a loving husband and father of two young children. He came to the United States seeking safety and has been living here under asylum while awaiting the processing of his green card. On Monday, September 15th, Rafael was unexpectedly detained by ICE in Ocala, FL.

The funds raised will go directly toward attorney fees and bail costs to help bring Rafael back home to his family. His wife, Jaqueline, is a dedicated stay-at-home mother doing her best to care for their children during this difficult time.
