Help Liz "Lizard" Bullen bring electricity to the Butiiki Learning Center in Jinja, Uganda.

In the silence, Butiiki calls to me to sing its praises and share how the people, the animals, and the beautiful nature in and around the learning center are forging a new path forward. I invite friends to join a journey of discovery and collaboration with people who are economically disadvantaged yet rich in ingenuity, problem-solving abilities, and the capacity to share wealth.

We are seeking $1,700 to connect power, including all wiring and installation, from the road to the kitchen and dormitory area of the learning center. The Butiiki community sends greetings, thanks you for your consideration, and extends a warm invitation to visit. They would love to show you around the "Pearl of Africa," with the source of the Nile River nearby. Jinja and the surrounding area are amazing, with many wonderful people ready to welcome guests.
