My name is Kristina, I am Breana Ruelas’s cousin. Breana’s husband, Jose (Pollo), was involved in a tragic accident at work where he fell through a roof at a warehouse in Hickory. He was immediately airlifted to Atrium Health’s Carolina’s Medical Center. He is in critical condition and currently fighting for his life. He has a very long road ahead of him. He needs his wife, Breana to be by his side not only for support but to be his advocate as he is currently placed in a medically induced coma. He has many surgeries ahead of him. Breana is a business owner at Short and Sweet in Hickory. She works this business and with her having to be with Pollo she can not open her doors. They have three beautiful daughters. Pollo is an amazing Dad. To know Pollo is to love him. He is the most genuine and funniest person that I know. The Ruelas are a Godly and precious family! Breana will have to travel back and forth from Newton to Charlotte for her girls. The Ruelas can use our help in this time of need to help with hotel rooms(so Bre can be near Pollo), gas, food, child care, bills, etc. Anything you can donate will help!
