Help Give 150 San Miguel Children a Christmas Coloring Book
This Christmas, Pancho the donkey needs a little help from his friends.
I’m raising funds to print 150 special coloring books for the children who attend La Posada in our San Miguel de Allende neighborhood.
La Posada brings families together through songs, homemade food, piñatas, laughter, and one of Mexico’s most treasured Christmas traditions. Around 150 children join our neighborhood celebration each year.
We have already prepared more than 150 gift bags. Each bag contains candy, small toys, games, and a box of 24 crayons. Now, I want to include something created especially for these children.
Meet Pancho.
Pancho is a little donkey who lives in San Miguel de Allende. I created an original 100-page coloring book featuring 50 single-sided images of Pancho as he prepares for Christmas and celebrates the holiday season around our beautiful city.
The children will recognize familiar traditions, local scenes, and the spirit of San Miguel throughout Pancho’s story. The book gives each child a creative activity to enjoy long after La Posada ends.
Each coloring book costs $3.50 to print.
- $3.50 provides one child with a book
- $17.50 provides books for five children
- $35 provides books for ten children
- $175 provides books for 50 children
- $525 prints books for all 150 children
I have already spent several thousand dollars of my own money preparing the gift bags and supporting the celebration. I would be grateful for help covering the cost of printing Pancho’s coloring books.
Every donation will go directly toward giving these children a fun and meaningful Christmas keepsake.
If donations exceed the cost of printing the books, all remaining funds will support our La Posada celebration, including food and small gifts for neighborhood adults and families.
Whether you provide one book or fifty, your gift will help make Christmas brighter for a child in San Miguel de Allende.
Thank you for helping Pancho bring a little more color and joy to La Posada.
