Hi, I’m Alex Gross, producer of Over Again, a short film created by a team of emerging filmmakers at the University of North Texas and directed by Garrett Bell Brenner.

Over Again follows a struggling actor caught in a cycle that thousands of artists know all too well: audition, rejection, repeat. It’s a story about failure, friendship, performance, and finding the courage to put yourself out there one more time—even when you have no guarantee that this time will be any different.

After months of planning, production, long days on set, and the work of an incredible cast and crew, we shot the film. We edited the film. And now we’re approaching the final stage.

Our goal is to take Over Again beyond the classroom and give it a genuine film festival run.

That final push costs money.

Funds raised through this campaign will help us complete the professional finishing work the film still needs, including sound editing and mixing, original scoring and music, final editorial and visual polish, festival-ready deliverables, and film festival submission fees.

We aren’t asking you to fund an idea that might someday become a movie. The movie exists. Your donation helps us take something our cast and crew already worked incredibly hard to create and finish it at the level we believe their work deserves.

Our goal is $2,500, and every contribution gets us closer.

$10 can help cover part of a festival submission. $25 or $50 can help us enter another festival or cover finishing expenses. Larger contributions allow us to invest directly in the artists and professionals helping us complete the film.
