Help Bring our Student Film to Life!

What's Up Everyone!
Our names are Cailan Compierchio and Sophia Harrigan, and we are two film students at the University of Arizona developing our senior thesis film, NOSTALGIATHON '99. We are looking for generous donors with a passion for supporting the arts to help us in obtaining a budget for our film. This money would go to a variety of costs associated with the production, including (but not limited to) equipment, locations, props and set design, festival submission fees, and most importantly, feeding and supporting our crew during filming. Donors will receive a special thanks in the credits of our film.
Our film, NOSTALGIATHON '99, centers around a group of young people whose lives intertwine over the course of one day, after a garage band of outcasts decides to throw one epic final (and first) performance when faced with losing their practice space for good. It is a pastiche of the comedies of the 90s, with mean girls, stoners, losers, gossips, and everyone in between. Our band members and their circle find themselves in progressively stranger situations as they recruit people to attend the show, dealing with frenemies, siblings, and the dangers of getting caught up in the past. The film will premiere at the Fox Theater in May 2025, as part of the School of Theatre, Film, and Television's "I Dream in Widescreen" screening.
NOSTALGIATHON '99 is the culmination of three years of hard work, love, and learning. Through this film, we are saying goodbye to and honoring all the friendships and filmmaking skills we have developed throughout our college careers. None of this will be possible, though, without the assistance of donors like you. Please consider donating to our film, so we can party like it's 1999!
Sincerely,
Cailan Compierchio and Sophia Harrigan
