Hi friends!

My name is Sophii Sherman and I am a Film and Television major at the University of Colorado Denver. Me and a group of students are trying to produce a script I wrote for our final project -- and we need your help!

“The Scare,” is a true story based on the novel "Mean Little deaf Queer" by Terry Galloway. It follows a young girl living in post WW2 Berlin, as she’s grappling with losing her hearing, while simultaneously preparing for an impending Russian invasion. All funds that will be donated to this project will go towards feeding our cast and crew, booking locations, and buying authentic vintage props and costumes to fully immerse the audience in this period piece. Any and all donations are insanely appreciated, and each donator will receive a credit in our film!

The final project will be showcased at CU Denver's annual film festival in May, submitted to film festivals, and will be put onto YouTube.
