Today, our family received the hardest phone call that any parent could receive. I was informed that my son has died. At this moment, we are in shock; my son was only 21 years old. He was such a loving and vibrant young man. He did not use drugs, and he would often help mentor his younger siblings. He left our hometown to pursue a dream in Georgia, but things unraveled for him there, and unfortunately, he took his own life. As a parent, to have your child feel so alone is heartbreaking. I come to the public respectfully asking for financial assistance and prayers. We need to pay for funeral services to have him transported back to Texas. Please help me bring my son home and surround him with family. I want my son to know that he was and is not alone. Also, to all parents, reach out to your children; let them know that they are not alone.
