While visiting Las Vegas for my brother’s surgery, our mother suffered a serious fall that caused a brain bleed and required emergency surgery. She has not yet regained consciousness and now needs long-term care.
We are doing everything we can to arrange a medical transport back to Fort Lauderdale, where she can be placed in a facility close to family who can support her recovery.
The medical transport must be what is called an air ambulance, which mirrors an intensive care unit in a hospital with specialized equipment for in-flight care such as advanced life support systems and monitoring devices with extensive medical supplies, medications, a doctor and nurse.
Our mom is the heart of our family—full of life, always giving, always smiling. The kids especially adore her fun-loving spirit and sense of humor.
We’re standing in faith and asking for your help—through prayers, shares, and any contributions—to assist with the cost of the medical transport to bring our beloved mother home.
Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.
