Help Bring Our Navajo Marine, Erick Tsosie, Home

Hello Family & Friends,

On Sunday, July 16, 2023, we lost our son, brother, and friend Erick Sonny Tsosie in a tragic car accident in Tacoma, WA. He was known to most as “Sonny” and was loved by many. The news of his sudden passing has left us shattered, grief-stricken, and at a loss for words. Erick was born into the Tlizi Lani (Many Goat clan), born for Ma'iideeshgizhnii (Coyote Pass clan). His infectious smile and warm greetings will be missed by all who were blessed to know him. Erick's selfless acts reflect in his commitment to serve his country by joining the U.S. Marine Corps as soon as he completed high school. Our family is kindly asking for your assistance to bring him home to Kayenta, Arizona in order to give him a proper memorial service. Your kindness, thoughts, donations, and prayers are what will be our compass as we try to navigate and mourn Erick's unexpected passing. All proceeds will go to Erick's return and memorial service.
