We are a family in crisis — and in deep mourning — urgently seeking hope and your support to bring our beloved mother home to safety, dignity, and love.
Our Story
Our mother, grandmother, and family matriarch is currently living in a nursing home in Oklahoma that is failing her in every way that matters. The care is poor. The conditions are heartbreaking. Every day, we live with the fear that she is not safe, not respected, and not truly cared for.
But things have gotten even worse.
Recently, my mother's two sisters were forced out of their home after the city of Lawton released water from the local reservoir without notifying residents. Their apartment was flooded. Two elderly women — one battling cancer — were evacuated with no help or guidance, losing everything they owned. A few short weeks later, my mother's sister tragically passed away from complications worsened by the trauma and stress of the disaster. This is a call for community support, as our family is in desperate need of your help.
Now, my mother is alone and misses her recently deceased sister. Grieving. She is isolated in a community that has delivered no care or responsibility for her well-being. We are heartbroken and outraged — and we know that she deserves better. We appreciate any support you can offer in advance.
Our Goal: $40,000 to Bring Her Home
We are determined to relocate our mother to Tacoma, Washington, where she can receive proper care and be surrounded by her children and grandchildren — by love, by advocacy, by the family she poured her life into raising.
