Our mom means the world to us—she has always been the foundation of our family, the one who keeps us together and motivates us through tough times. She’s a true warrior, a kindhearted person who is always willing to lend a hand to anyone in need. Not only is she an amazing mom, but she’s also a wonderful grandma, cherished by all her family and friends. She loves dancing, is a fantastic cook, and enjoys going to her Zumba classes. Her warmth and generosity have touched so many lives, and now, more than ever, she needs our support.

On Monday, June 29, our lives changed when our mom was taken by ICE agents while she was simply walking to the store to get groceries for her family. We are heartbroken and scared, but we are determined to do everything we can to bring her home. We don’t know what the future holds, but we have faith in God and in the power of community to help us through this. Our mom has always been there for everyone—now it’s our turn to be strong for her.

We are raising funds to start her legal defense. The first portion will go to an ICE custody analyst to have a legal team step in, track her intake, pull her records, and perform an analysis of her custody status. The rest will help us continue the legal process as we work toward her release. The total needed is much higher, but we are starting with this amount and hope to raise more as we go. We are asking for the support of all her loved ones and anyone who believes in keeping families together. Any contribution, no matter the size, will make a difference.
