Hi everyone,
I’m writing this with a heavy heart, on behalf of a very dear friend who is currently facing a heartbreaking and life-threatening crisis.
This kind, hardworking man has always shown strength, loyalty, and compassion but life has dealt him a devastating series of blows that no one should have to endure alone.
It all began when his brother was kidnapped—a terrifying event that forced him to empty his entire savings to secure his brother’s release. While he didn’t hesitate to save his family, this act of love left him financially vulnerable. Just a few months later, he lost his job, and with that, the ability to pay rent, cover basic bills, or manage his growing medical needs.
Eventually, he was evicted and became homeless. He’s been living in extremely difficult conditions ever since, often going days without food, without shelter, and without access to the medical care he urgently needs.
To make things worse, he suffers from serious kidney stones , a condition that has quickly deteriorated due to stress, malnutrition, and lack of treatment and is currently needing dialysis. His physical and mental health have been deeply affected. This is, without a doubt, the darkest and most painful chapter of his life.
He is currently abroad, and his residency will expire on July 28. If we cannot get him home before then, he risks becoming undocumented—cut off from any remaining assistance and even more vulnerable. We are desperate to raise funds so he can return to Nigeria, reunite with his family, and begin life-saving treatment in a place where he has support.
Our goal is to raise £5000 and here is how your donations is going to help
£2560- to pay owed rent in order for his name to be taken off no flights list by landlord
£540- to help with food and shelter pending travel being sorted
£1500- to help with flight ticket and food and shelter for the first couple weeks on return back home
£500- to start off initial medical treatments
Please Help If You Can
This is a time-sensitive, life-saving mission. We know times are hard, but even the smallest donation can help bring him one step closer to safety, stability, and a second chance at life.
If you're unable to donate, sharing this could still make a huge difference. Your support—whether financial, emotional, or spiritual—is deeply appreciated.
Due to certain constraints, I’m unable to share more personal details about him, but I hope this gives you a sense of just how urgent and real this need is.
Thank you for your kindness and compassion.
With deep gratitude,
Jennifer
