On February 11, my father was detained by ICE after living in the United States for 40 years. He has always been a hardworking man, dedicating his life to providing for our family and helping others in our community. Whether it was lending a hand or sharing the lessons he’s learned over the years, he has touched many lives with his kindness and generosity. Now, he is in a detention center, and our family is doing everything we can to bring him home and prevent his deportation.

His absence has left a huge void, especially for his seven grandchildren. They are heartbroken and miss seeing him, playing with him, and sharing those special moments where he would become a kid again just to make them smile. Our family is struggling emotionally and financially as we fight to keep him with us.
