On Thursday, December 18th, 2025, my father was simply doing his job—picking up materials from the Lowe’s home improvement center on 12th & I-40—when he was suddenly detained and arrested by ICE. For years, he has been the main provider for our family, working tirelessly and carrying the weight of our needs on his shoulders. Despite countless petitions and years of waiting, he is still the only one in his family who has not been able to secure his citizenship. Now, we are facing the unimaginable: our family’s foundation has been taken from us, and we are left trying to pick up the pieces.
My dad is genuinely the glue that holds our family together. His absence is felt deeply—when he is around, you can’t help but feel a bright warmth, like the sun on a perfect spring day. He’s the kind of person who never quits, no matter how tough things get, and he’s always the first to show up when someone needs help. His selflessness and kindness to strangers inspire me every day to be a better person, and I know anyone who meets him feels the same.
We are asking for your help and support to bring our father home and reunite our family. Every donation will go directly to his legal fees and lawyers, giving us hope that we can bring him back where he belongs. Thank you for reading our story and for standing with us during this difficult time.
