My name is Brad Rundblade and I'm trying to fix my 1994 Jeep Wrangler YJ. I’ve spent countless hours bringing it back to life. It’s more than just a car to me, it’s a piece of my family’s story. I live in L.A. with my wife and two kids, and we really need two working cars to make our lives function for work, school, and appointments. I’ve always taken pride in fixing things myself, and this Jeep has been a labor of love. I rebuilt it once already when it was going to be used in a movie, but I was never paid back for that work. Now the starter and flywheel are shot, and I can’t afford the repairs on my own. Coincidentally, it’s just like the Jeep my mom had when I was a baby in Greece, so this one has a lot of sentimental value to me. My daughter absolutely loves riding in it. I want to keep it alive, not just as a car, but as something I can teach her and my son about, about work, patience, and taking care of something with your own two hands. I’m hoping to raise $3,500 to fix the starter, flywheel and pay back the money I borrowed for a few other parts to get it running again. Any contribution helps our family get back on the road and gives me the chance to share what I love, fixing and learning, with my kids.
