It’s now been a year since my dad was detained, and we haven’t seen him since he was deported. After spending more than 22 years building a life in the United States, he was detained during a routine ICE check-in despite having no criminal convictions and always complying with every requirement. Being separated from him for the past year has been one of the hardest things our family has ever endured. We’re raising money to help my sisters and me travel so we can finally see our dad again and be reunited after a year apart.
