We’re raising funds for our dear friend, Ekaterina “Kat” Shishkina, a kind, loving girl friend, daughter and friend living in Vietnam who urgently needs our help.

Kat has been caught up in an ongoing legal case & simply was in the wrong place at the wrong time. She’s currently being held in difficult conditions, without access to her regular medication and with very limited contact or support.

We’re doing everything properly, working with reputable lawyers to prove her innocence and navigate Vietnam’s complex legal system. The costs are overwhelming: legal fees, translations, and filings are expected to reach $2,000–$4,000 USD, with top law firms quoting up to $30,000 USD for full representation. The better the representation the better her outcome.

She holds 2 degrees, fluent in 3 languages and pursued careers in different countries working so hard to get an amazing job. She cares and invests in so many of her loved ones. We love her so much.

All funds will go directly toward verified legal expenses, and we’ll provide receipts and regular updates throughout.
