For years, Dandy has roamed Nowhere as a larger-than-life art car, spreading vibes, flames, and stomping beats across the playa. Our art car tends to shapeshift: You may remember our apocalyptic LED Zeppelin or The Flaming Mantis we crafted as Insektopia. This year we want to bring it back as The Disco Miner for one final interstellar ride and bring it home for a final performance at Ruigoord’s Landjuweel. But we need your help.
✨ Why It Matters
The Disco Miner isn’t just a mobile soundstage—it’s a gift and a glowing beacon in the dark, on a mission to mine the magical element of Disconium that fuels all parties. Passersby are invited to not just dance, but to spot all the mirrorballs and feed our miner to keep the party going. This will be our last year with the art car before we part ways with it. One last chance to dance around our mirrorball-powered mothership.
The Situation
Our usual art grant from Nowhere is significantly lower this year, while costs for transport, building materials, lighting, and flamethrowers have only increased. Due to unforeseen repairs and truck garage visits we can’t make it to the Dutch burn in time, further decimating our funds. With mounting theatrical ambitions, steady morale and eversinking morals, the budget is as tight as an electronic drum beat. We already have enough to make it there… But we don’t have enough to go out with a BANG, not a fizzle!
How We’ll Use the Money
Your donations will go directly toward:
Stellar LED lighting, sound, and effects
Fuel for our ridiculously large flamethrowers
If we raise more than our goal, we’ll crank up the magic:
More LED lights for maximum sparkle
Remotely controlled flamethrowers through Cindy’s nipples
Gifted drinks & interactive party props
Join the Mission
Help us make our final ride unforgettable. Whether it’s €1 €10 or €100, your support helps keep the lights blazing, the bass pumping, and the vibe alive.
See you in the dust,
