With broken hearts, we are reaching out to ask for help following the sudden and devastating loss of our beloved brother, Jonas aged 34 who passed away unexpectedly in Cyprus on 5th June.

As a family, we are struggling to come to terms with the fact that Jonas is no longer with us. He was a loving son, brother, partner, father and friend who touched the lives of so many people. His loss has left an unimaginable void in all our hearts.

Jonas leaves behind his loving partner and his beautiful 8 year old daughter, who is now facing life without her dad. No child should have to experience such heartbreak at such a young age, and our priority is to ensure she and her mum have the support they need during this incredibly difficult time.

Alongside our grief, we are now faced with the enormous and unexpected costs of bringing Jonas home from Cyprus to the UK so that he can be laid to rest surrounded by his family, friends, and everyone who loved him.

The costs involved in repatriation, funeral arrangements, travel and supporting his young family are far greater than we can manage alone. We are therefore asking for any support, no matter how small, to help us through this heartbreaking situation.

Bringing Jonas home from Cyprus to the UK

Funeral and memorial costs

Travel and accommodation expenses for family members involved in the arrangements

Supporting Jonas’s partner and daughter as they navigate life after this devastating loss

Jonas was a kind, caring, and hardworking man who would do anything for the people he loved. He deserved many more years with his family, and while nothing can ease the pain of losing him, we want to give him the dignified farewell he deserves and provide some security for the family he leaves behind.
