Bring Osman's Family To The U.S.
Ever since Osman was a young man, his dream was to come to the United States of America. It was a long and difficult journey for him to make it to the U.S., but he finally arrived in May of 2011. Ever since arriving in the US, he has had 2 goals: 1st to become a US citizen so he could then sponsor his wife Olive and his daughter Sally to come to the U.S., and 2nd to save enough money to pay for all of their expenses for them to join him here.
This year, on April 17th, he finally became a US citizen! He can now sponsor Olive and Sally to join him in the U.S. Unfortunately, his second goal has been more difficult than he expected. Back home in Sierra Leone, Osman was a professional tailor. He has put those skills to use, working at the Men’s Warehouse in Layton, UT as a tailor. However, after paying his living expenses here, and his family’s living expenses in Sierra Leone, it hasn’t left much of anything for him to save towards bringing his family here.
This GoFundMe campaign will pay for all of the expenses of getting his wife and daughter here, which totals $5,000. Anything over this amount will go towards helping him buy tailoring equipment, so he can do extra work on the side, buying a car, and eventually finding new housing when his wife and daughter arrive.
Osman is a good man who works hard and shows kindness to all those he meets. He will be forever grateful for your help and support. Thank you.
