My name is Olivia Rodriguez and this semester I got into the highly competitive Senior Capstone class at Texas State. There, I have the privilege to make "Zizania," the story of a San Marcos River Nymph who must learn to adapt or succumb to the changes in her environment. Being born and raised in San Marcos, this short is incredibly personal and meaningful to me. It encompasses everything I want to achieve in my film career: bringing environmental awareness through art. We have carefully calculated every dollar in our budget to create this film, and any donation, big or small, is hugely appreciated.
