Our mom, Oliva Aguon, was the heart of our family. She was fun loving, caring, and always brought everyone together, even during the toughest times. Oliva had a great sense of humor and could always make us laugh, even on the hardest days. She could be stubborn in her own way, but her determination was matched only by her willingness to be there for anyone who needed her. She made every gathering special and always put family first.
Recently, Oliva passed away after a difficult battle with late-stage dementia. Her final days were spent in the hospital after she aspirated, and our family has been navigating the emotional and financial challenges that come with saying goodbye. As her children, we are working together to honor her memory and give her the farewell she deserves.
We are raising funds to cover all funeral expenses, with a special need to transport Oliva from Georgia to Guam so she can be laid to rest in her homeland. The costs include the funeral service, burial, and the significant expense of bringing her home. We are reaching out for support to help us make this possible and celebrate Oliva’s life in the way she would have wanted.
