Help Us Bring Olga Home

On September 9, my wife, Olga, was detained by ICE officers at an airport in Denver, Colorado. At the time of her detention, she had her immigration documentation with her. She is currently being held at an immigration detention center in Denver, separated from her family.

This happened without warning and changed our lives in a single day.

Our attorney is now actively working on Olga’s case and seeking her release on bond. The process involves significant and rapidly growing expenses. We need funds for attorney fees, legal and court-related costs, financial support for Olga while she remains in detention, and, most importantly, to be prepared to pay her bond if her release is granted.

As her husband, I have had to put my normal work on hold and focus on her case. I need to remain available to gather documents, communicate with our attorney and government agencies, and respond immediately whenever something is required for Olga’s case. Because of this situation, our ability to cover these expenses on our own has become extremely limited.

Many people know Olga as someone who has always been willing to help others.

Over the years, she has supported hundreds of women through difficult periods in their lives. She has given her time, care, knowledge, and support wholeheartedly, often without asking for anything in return. She has participated in and supported communities across the country and has always tried to be there when someone needed help.

We have always preferred to handle our difficulties ourselves. Asking other people for financial help is extremely difficult for us, and it is something we have rarely ever done.

But today, we are facing an extraordinary situation that we cannot manage alone.

Funds raised will be used for attorney and legal fees, court and procedural expenses, financial support for Olga while she is in detention, and her bond if one is granted.

Every contribution, no matter the amount, will help us move one step closer to bringing Olga home.
