Help Bring A Land Twice Promised to Our Region!

Tax deductible

I'm Paula Weiss, co-founder of the Children at the Well storytelling program and the WithOurVoice organization (withourvoice.org). We're proud to partner with Congregation Berith Sholom (Troy), Temple Israel (Albany), Congregation Gates of Heaven (Schenectady), Sidney Albert Albany JCC, Rabbi Dan Ornstein,
Fig Tree Alliance, Story Circle of the Capital District, and other community leaders to bring storyteller Noa Baum’s show A Land Twice Promised to Temple Israel (Albany) on Sunday, April 30th at 4:30pm, for a crowd-funded community performance.

Noa, an Israeli who began a heartfelt dialogue with a Palestinian woman while living in the United States, weaves together their memories and their mothers' stories. She creates a moving testimony illuminating the complex and contradictory history and emotions that surround Jerusalem for Israelis and Palestinians alike.

Noa writes "I tell the human story that stands apart from politics and hope that hearing it will call upon us to listen with compassion without surrendering to prejudice and fear, choose dialogue, and commit to peace."

Donate what you'd spend on a transformative night of theater. If you can, donate extra so others can experience it, too. If you can't donate right now, please help us spread the word and share this fundraiser with your friends by email and/or social media.

If preferred, checks may be written to WithOurVoice, Inc. (with "Noa Baum" on the memo line) and mailed to WithOurVoice, PO Box 271, Latham NY 12110.

All donations are tax-deductible, and a receipt will be sent.

Please join us on Sunday, April 30th, 4:30pm at Temple Israel, Albany, to discover for yourself the power of story!

Noa Baum is an award-winning storyteller, author, coach and public speaker presenting internationally for diverse audiences ranging from the World Bank, prestigious universities and congregations, to festivals, government agencies and schools.

Born and raised in Jerusalem, Noa offers a unique combination of performance art and practical workshops that focus on the power of stories to heal across the divides of identity and build bridges of peace.
