We are deeply saddened to share the heartbreaking news of the passing of Nhung Nguyễn (30 years old). She came to the United States over two years ago and had been living in Gainesville. She was a kind and gentle person, loved by everyone who knew her. Yesterday, while visiting a spring with friends, she and another person unfortunately slipped. In their effort to save each other in the spring current, both became exhausted and could not be rescued in time. After a night of treatment at the hospital in critical condition due to severe brain swelling, she sadly passed away on the morning of the 20th.

At this time, the family’s greatest wish is to bring her back to Vietnam so that loved ones can see her one last time and lay her to rest in her homeland.
