Natalie's friend, a US citizen, recently experienced an unimaginable ordeal while traveling in the Philippines. They were kidnapped, robbed, tortured, raped, and held hostage for three hours. A woman going by “Karina” and her friend (showed in the picture) are the perpetrators. After finally being released, they were left with nothing—no money, no belongings, and no way to get home. The trauma and fear they endured are beyond words, and right now, their most urgent need is to return to the safety and support of loved ones in the United States.
