Nala, our beloved pitbull, was more than just a pet—she was a cherished member of our family of six. Just two weeks ago, she was diagnosed with large cell lymphoma and given only a short time to live. We hoped for more time, but her condition worsened quickly. In her final days, Nala could barely move or open her eyes, and when she did, her eyes looked in different directions with a pink film covering them. She was in so much pain, and it broke our hearts to see her suffer. She lost control of her body, and our couch was stained with blood, vomit, and diarrhea that I tried to clean for hours, but the smell and stains remain as a painful reminder of her last moments.

This has been an incredibly difficult time for our family. We just paid for Christmas, and we’ve faced a series of unexpected expenses—thousands spent to restore our electricity, a new furnace, urgent car repairs, and now Nala’s medical bills and cremation. I am also about to undergo surgery and will be out of work for two months, leaving us with no income. The pet facility can only hold Nala for two more days, so we urgently need help to cover the cost of her cremation and bring her ashes home. Any additional support will go toward her medical bills, and if possible, a new couch so we don’t have to be reminded of her suffering every day.
