I'm so excited! My first and only play (so far) was accepted by PDX Playwrights to be performed in their Festival Within a Festival as part of Portland's city-wide "Fertile Ground Festival of New Works"! I'll be a co-producer with them, which basically means they provide the theater space and tech support, and I do everything else.

Thankfully, one of their people already offered to be my co-director (for free!).

Now we just have to figure out all the logistics, like raising money, getting actors, paying actors, feeding actors (yeeeahhhh), getting set pieces, costumes, props, etc. They say I should be able to break even with the tickets we sell, but I'm hoping to also raise some money anyways since I have a feeling there will be a lot of unforeseen expenses (depending on how many Cheez-Its the actors consume, etc).

If any of you will be in town, you should come! The performance dates will be April 15 and 17 at 6:30 pm at Chapel Theater at 4107 SE Harrison St, Milwaukie, OR 97222

(No raffles, sweepstakes, giveaways, or returns on investment are offered in exchange for any donations made to this GoFundMe.)
