Help Bring My Love to Canada!

Hiya! My wonderful partner and I have been navigating a long-distance-relationship for coming up on two years. In our young adult lives that has come with a lotta financial struggle, having to pay for bills, unexpected moving expenses, and job changes.

Our relationship is very special to me. After being introduced online through a mutual friend nearly 10 years ago, we kept in touch as friends here and there. Until finally, we decided to start a real friendship. From there we started video calling nearly every day to catch up on our lives, and learn more about eachother. The connection came easy, and we could spend hours and hours talking and laughing. Slowly that friendship turned into something more deep and loving, and I've felt on top of the world since the day I asked them to be mine, and they agreed. We've only grown and learned more about eachother in the nearly two years since. With our unique relationship being so many kilometers apart from eachother, I feel we've been able to touch eachothers souls in a brand new way I've never experienced, even before we ever held hands. We have detailed ideas and goals for our future, including business ventures and plans for housing together. I truly feel this move will be a stepping stone for both of us to move up in life, and forwards together.

Nyx is a very passionate person. This shows in their career prospects and experience. They're a certified caregiver and have a passion particularly for autistic children. The exact certification is ABAT (applied behavioral analysis technician), and is international. They have experience with elderly care as well as childcare and education, as well as activity directing and marketing.

We want to properly get our lives together started, to not rely on airport and airbnb visits twice a year. So, we're looking for some help, to get the person I love out of a less than favourable living position. They've recently faced eviction and are in a couch-surfing situation, with two kitties to care for. We need to be able to move them and their things from Pennsylvania, USA, to British Columbia, Canada. This is around 3 400km. Funds will be put towards travel expenses such as a small U-Haul rental, as well as gas and boarding stops, and food and water.

This is hugely important to our lives, and we understand the huge ask. We ask because of the faith we have in us and what we can build together. I think Canada deserves some Nyx!
