Hi, my name is Cynthia Myers and I’m reaching out with a heavy heart to ask for your help.

My husband, Cheikh Amadou Bamba Fall, was recently detained by ICE. He is a kind, loving, and hardworking man who has been doing everything possible to build a safe and stable life with me here in the United States. He has an active asylum case and we are in the process of filing a marriage-based petition, but this unexpected detention has turned our world upside down.

Right now, we are urgently trying to raise money for legal fees and a possible bond to help bring him home. Every day he is detained is painful—for both of us emotionally, and for me financially as I try to manage everything alone.

We are doing everything we can, but the cost of a trusted immigration attorney and bond can be overwhelming. That’s why I’m turning to our friends, family, and kind-hearted strangers for support. Any amount you can give—no matter how small—will bring us one step closer to reuniting our family and giving him a fair chance to fight his case.
