My husband flew to India on February 27th to attend his nephew’s wedding, arriving on March 1st. Just a few days later, on March 4th, he went shopping in Ludhiana when he suddenly experienced severe chest pains and lost consciousness. The driver quickly took him to a nearby hospital, where doctors performed CPR and were able to revive him. However, he remained in a coma for nearly two months. When he finally opened his eyes, he still could not talk or respond to anything. He has now been in the hospital for three months, and we have spent all of our life savings on his treatment and care.
Back home in Iowa, I am working full time to support our almost three-year-old twin boys and my elderly mom. The emotional and financial strain has been overwhelming. We desperately want to bring my husband home so he can be with his family and receive the care he needs to recover. Unfortunately, we do not have the funds to arrange for an air ambulance to bring him back to Iowa.
Your support would mean the world to us. Every donation, no matter the size, will help us reunite our family and give my husband the best chance at recovery. Thank you for reading our story and for any help you can provide.
