Help Bob Wagner make his first record in Nashville

Hi friends! I'm making my first record of all original music and I’m asking for your support to help make it happen. Please send me to Nashville!

I started recording earlier this year in Vermont (with the sonic wizardry of Benny Yurco, Josh Weinstein, Corey Wilhelm and Mike Fried) and love what we captured (you can hear some playing in the background of the video and I'm looking forward to sharing takes from those sessions). My goal now though is to finish the record at The Studio Nashville (home to some of my favorite folks, The Wood Brothers) with some wonderfully inspiring musicians: Mark Radabaugh (drums with Sierra Hull and Seth Walker), the one and only Jano Rix (drums + keyboards with The Wood Brothers) and my longtime bandmate Josh Weinstein (bass with Kat Wright). This band lineup feels like a "pinch me, am I dreaming" scenario and it's coming up very soon. Studio time is held in early November, the band is good to go and I've got more songs than I need. Things are in a great place. I just need to show up and be able to pay for it.

I want to make this record but truthfully I can’t do it without help. I’m setting a goal of $20K for this record to help pay for studio time, the musicians, the post-production work of mixing and mastering, lodging, transportation etc. If I meet my goal and I’m lucky perhaps it’ll help cover some additional assets though that's probably being too optimistic. And if I were to raise anything extra those funds could help with developing video or would maybe let me explore a vinyl pre-order of sorts (something I would LOVE to be able to offer). We’ll see.
