My father was recently detained by ICE, and our family is facing an incredibly difficult time. He has always been the provider for our household, working tirelessly to ensure that my siblings and I have the opportunities he dreamed of when he first arrived in the United States 21 years ago. He entered this country legally and has been here ever since, building a life for our family from the ground up. His absence has left a huge gap in our lives, both emotionally and financially, as he will be out of work for months while in ICE custody. The costs of securing legal representation amount to $25,000; we are struggling to cover the attorney fees needed to fight for his release and keep our family together.

On top of the legal expenses, we are also facing the challenge of paying our mortgage and monthly bills without his income. The financial strain is immense, and we are doing everything we can to stay afloat while we fight for his return.
