My father recently passed away in the Philippines, and I am reaching out for help during this incredibly difficult time. He was living there with his fiancée, who depended on him for support, and his sudden passing has left us with many unexpected challenges. I am now faced with the responsibility of arranging his funeral, transporting his remains and belongings back to the United States, and ensuring that his fiancée is cared for in his absence.

The costs are overwhelming. Cremation, bringing his remains and belongings home, and providing for his fiancée are significant expenses. On top of that, his fiancée does not work and relied on him as her primary source of income. I want to make sure my father is honored properly, with a headstone and a place to rest, and that his fiancée is not left without support. If there are any funds left after these expenses, I hope to use them to lay my brother, who preceded my father, to rest alongside him. Any remaining amount will be divided between a college fund for myself and a fund to help support Eric’s fiancée as she navigates this loss.
