Help bring my family in Gaza to safety [URGENT]

Hello everyone, my name is Salma, a Palestinian-Canadian living in Kitchener-Waterloo.

I am fundraising to help my family in Gaza leave through the Rafah border into Egypt.

In the next few days, officials at the border will be adding several names on the list of people permitted to leave through Rafah and while my cousins will be on that list, they need financial support in order to be permitted passage. The situation is VERY URGENT because their area is being heavily targeted right now and they’re at very high risk. Please read additional details below.

OUR FAMILY

Mohammad, his wife, his four sons, his daughter, his son’s wife and his two-year old grandchild (9 people total).

They were all in Nasayraat (center of Gaza) and their house got bombed and his business got bombed as well (electrical/appliance store) so they fled to stay with relatives in Khan Younis. Then when the home they were staying in, in Khan Younis, got bombed they had to flee again and now they live in a refugee camp in Khan Younis with minimal aid.

The nine family members are my mother’s cousin, Mohammad Sheikh Salama, his wife, four sons and his daughter Rajaa. His kids are in their 20’s. His son, Ibrahim is married and has a baby (2 years old) and his wife is with him as well.

EXPENSES

Border officials are requiring $45,000 CAD for all 9 members to be permitted passage through Rafah. Any donation you make will be put towards paying this expense.
