I never imagined I’d be in a position where I’d need to ask for help, but right now, my family needs me—and I need a little help from you. My daughter and grandchildren are in Jackson, Tennessee, and things have become out of control where they are. As a parent and grandparent, I can’t stand by and do nothing, so I’ve made the decision to drive across the country to bring them home to California. My niece will be joining me for the journey, and together we’re determined to get my daughter and grandkids to safety.

This trip is much longer and more expensive than I anticipated. It’s a 29-hour drive each way, and with just two of us behind the wheel, we’ll need to cover gas, lodging, and food for the entire trip. My resources are limited, but I know I have to do this for my family. Every bit of support—whether it’s a donation, a share, or a prayer—will help us get there and back safely.
