My dog is more than just a pet—he is my lifeline and my protector. Last night, I had a seizure and hurt my head, and my dog got under my head to keep me from hurting myself further. He has always been there for me, especially during my toughest moments, and I can't imagine life without him.
Recently, my dog was injured by a bullet. When I took him to the vet for help, the situation became even more difficult. The vet is refusing to give my dog back unless I pay a large amount, and even tried to get me to give up my car in exchange for my dog. My dog is still suffering with the bullet inside him, and I am terrified that if I can't pay, the vet will keep him or sell him to someone else. I just want to bring him home and get him the care he desperately needs.
On top of everything, I am battling cancer. My doctor gave me only six months to live, and that was three months ago. My dog is the only thing that gives me hope and keeps me from giving up. Without him, I don’t know how I would keep going. The funds from this fundraiser will go directly to paying the current vet so I can get my dog back. Once he is home, I have found another vet who is willing to remove the bullet for free. My dog means everything to me, and I am so grateful for any help you can give to bring him home and help him heal. Thank you for your kindness and support.
