Hi everyone, my name is Kadejah also known as shaniece . I’m a single mother to three beautiful girls living in Cambridge, Ontario.

On August 6th, while I was visiting family in Jamaica, my two daughters were wrongfully removed from Canada by their father—without my knowledge or permission. At the time, he was living with my mother in Toronto, and we had a clear agreement that he would help care for the children until I returned. Instead, he violated that trust and took them out of the country.

The Ontario Courts of Justice have since confirmed this was a wrongful removal, but even with this ruling, I’ve been struggling to find the help and resources needed to bring them home.

Since they were taken, my daughters have not attended school, and I fear their lives are being disrupted and their well-being compromised. As a mother, this separation is unbearable. I have never been apart from my girls this long. Every day is a battle to function normally, but the pain is overwhelming—for me, for their younger sibling, and for our entire family.

This journey to reunite with my daughters is long, complex, and expensive. I’m currently raising funds to help with:

Legal fees for international representation

Travel expenses and temporary accommodation

Ongoing counseling and mental health support for my children and family

Anyone who knows me knows I will never stop fighting for my children. I love them with everything I have, and I just want to bring them home—back to Canada, back to their school, and back to the family who loves and supports them.
