Hi everyone, my name is Anyel, and I’m reaching out during one of the hardest moments my family has ever faced. My dad has recently been taken into immigration custody and is currently being held in a detention center. This situation has been incredibly overwhelming and unexpected. My dad has been in the United States for over 20 years and has worked at the same job for more than 10 years. He is a dedicated, hardworking man and the main provider for our family. Everything he has done has been to give us a better life. If you have already helped, I truly appreciate you so much your support has meant more to us than you know.

Our goal is to raise $5000 to help cover:

• Legal fees for immigration representation

• Bond (if applicable)

• Family expenses during this time

We have been working with a lawyer, but the costs have been extremely high. With my dad not being here, it has put my mom and my younger sibling in a very difficult situation. I’ve been helping them as much as I can, but the legal fees are more than we can handle on our own. We are now facing urgent expenses, including attorney fees, court costs, and supporting our family during this time while my dad is unable to be home with us.
