Hi everyone,
I’m reaching out with a heavy heart and asking for help during one of the most difficult times in my life. My father recently passed away unexpectedly, and my family and I are doing everything we can to make arrangements that truly honor the man he was.
My dad was a kind, humble, and generous soul who had a deep love for Jesus. His relationship with God gave him strength through life’s toughest moments. That faith is what helped him walk the path of recovery and sobriety with grace, and it gave him peace in his final years.
One of the most important parts of his life was his AA community. The people he met there meant so much to him. They gave him friendship, purpose, and accountability. He gave so much back too, always offering support and encouragement to others who were struggling. His faith and recovery journey were deeply connected, and we want to honor that part of his life in the way we say goodbye.
Right now, we’re trying to bring his ashes back home to Colorado so we have a place where we can visit him and feel close. We’re also facing some unexpected memorial service costs. I’m still recovering from major surgery myself, and trying to grieve and plan everything at the same time has been really overwhelming.
If you’re able to donate or even just share this, we would be so grateful. Every little bit helps, whether it goes toward transporting his ashes, planning a small memorial, or simply supporting our family during this time of loss.
Thank you so much for your prayers, love, and support. We know my dad is at peace, and we want to do everything we can to honor him with the same love he showed to others.
With love,
Angie
