My dad is a legend—he’s the most resilient, honest, and genuine man I’ve ever known or will ever know. He did everything and anything by all means to take care of our family. He was the kind of person who would sit on the side of the road and speak life into anyone who needed it. He loved nothing more than spreading love and wisdom, always trying to spare others the pain he went through in his own life. No matter what he faced, he never let pain, trauma, or mistakes define him or his future. He never made excuses, only ever offering solutions or adjustments. He refused to dwell on anything negative, no matter the circumstances.

He was an amazing bowling coach, admired and loved by so many. He gave so much of his life to the kids at the bowling alley, loving that place and those kids as his own. He was my biggest supporter in every way, my best friend, and my whole world. There was never a filter between us—no one knew my secrets and pains like he did. Nothing could have come between us except God.

His passing was completely unexpected, and now it’s just me and my brother Branden left in Kansas. My brother doesn’t have a job or a car, so I’m carrying this responsibility alone. My dad was born in Jersey, and I need help with the funds to cremate him, provide a service here for people to say goodbye, and then fly out to Jersey with him to have another service with all of our family. The home and cars are all in his name, so I also have to handle a lot of paperwork. I want to honor him the way he deserves and bring him home to be with his mother and his brother who are waiting for him in heaven.
