My cousin was born in California and, as a newborn, was taken to Mexico to be raised. He was a humble, innocent, and trustworthy soul who always lent a helping hand to those in need. He followed in his father’s footsteps, accompanying him to work—whether it was construction or hard labor, he was always ready to support his dad. His kindness and willingness to help others made a lasting impression on everyone who knew him.

Tragically, at just 19 years old, my cousin was shot outside of a Costco shopping center. His sudden loss has left our family heartbroken. We are now facing the difficult task of bringing him back to Mexico so his mother can say her last goodbyes and give him the farewell he deserves. The expenses for transporting his body and arranging the funeral are overwhelming for our family.
