My brother was a 49-year-old man with a kind and giving soul. He had been homeless since 2012, but despite his own struggles, he was always willing to help others—he would give the shirt off his back to someone in need. He walked the streets alone, never carrying much, just trying to stay warm and avoid chaos. Even with so little, he showed so much love and generosity to those around him.
On January 18th, my brother was found 10-15 feet down,in a crevice with a core temperature of 76 degrees. He was stuck, with a boulder sitting in his lap and could not move I believe due to his crippling hands that he couldn't use hardly ever. he froze , and was unconscious. We believe he was hurt n someone did this to him he was found in below-freezing temperatures —no one is really sure. He had nothing except us, his family, who loved him deeply. My heart is broken by this loss, and we want to give him the dignity he deserves.
We are trying to raise money to pay for his cremation and bring him home to us. Any support would mean the world to our family as we try to honor his memory and say goodbye.
