Help Bring My Brother Back Home To India

My name is Jograj Singh and living in Canada. I’m here to fundraising for help in obtaining the funds that needed to transfer my brother's body from the United States to India. It is with sadness that my brother passed away in the United States on July 6, 2024 due to a heart attack. It has been over nine years since my family, and I last saw him.

My brother landed in the United States on January 21, 2015, on a business visa. His first two to three years in the country went smoothly, but in 2018, he was involved in a car accident that left him with a severe head injury, which completely changed his life. He never got his life back on track after that and experienced many difficult times. As a family, we always put great effort to support him by sending money for his medical care and living expenses while in India and always requesting our friends and relatives who are in U.S to take care of him. However, following 2018, he spent the majority of his time at the "John George Psychotic Hospital" in San Fernando, California, to recovering from a head injury. My parents made four or five attempts to obtain a U.S. visa, but they were always denied.

Then, in July of 2021, I entered Canada on a student visa, which gave little hope to my parents of bring back their son home. After I finished my studies in Canada in May 2022 and i got U.S appointment for May 23, 2024. When I notified my older brother that I had received my visa on May 23, 2024, he was excited and asked to come see me. Then, on May 27, I started planning my trip to see my brother after i picked up my passport from Canada post on May 27 and thinking about get time off from my office job and told my brother i will visit him very soon because my brother was the main reason for me to getting US visa so that I can meet him up but i didn't aware god's has different plan for both of us. God helped me to get US visa after 2 years of wait but didn't give me chance to meet my brother when he was live and left me with regret for my whole life. He was in the hospital from last 4-5 months and we all family member talked every single day and we were all happy for him as he was getting better day by day. And he got released on 02 July 2024 from hospital and again we had talked at the same day, and he was very happy, but everything got changed when i got call from "San Francisco Medical Examiner" on 06 July,2024 around 11:30 pm just after 4 days of his release from hospital about my brother death which put me in huge shock and it was unbelievable for me at first as we had talked just few days back. i couldn't believe until i confirmed everything with his friend with whom he was for his last moments of life. He told me about whole situation and told me everything that happened on that day, he was crying and told me he tried very hard to save him, but he couldn't, and he was the one who called the 911 when he observed Gurbhej vomited and got fainted and fallen to aside and his head hit with side table. Then police and medical came over there in 10-15 mints but they couldn't make him survive.

Now, i contacted Indian consulate to help me out to get my brother's body back to India for his last funeral rituals at his home residence in India and they told they will help me and told me to collect funds as much as i can that's why i created GO FUND profile. I can manage to arrange $3000-4000 dollars and need help to collect rest of the funds so please contribute as much as everyone can so that we can bring my brother's body back to India.
