Unfortunately, he recently swallowed a piece of string that became wrapped around his intestines, and he now might need emergency surgery to survive if the fluids don’t flush it out.
I’m heartbroken and feel awful that I didn’t react to it sooner, but I’m doing everything I can to get him the care he desperately needs.
Milo is the kind of cat who melts hearts, even turning non-cat people into cat lovers. He’s gentle, loving, silly, and has the sweetest little spirit. He was a stray that came into my life, he didn’t need me at the time but he knew I needed him. He means the world to me, and to everyone lucky enough to know him. Losing him isn’t something I can imagine.
He needs me now. Now more than ever.
His surgery is estimated to cost $6,000 or more, and I’m asking for $9,000 to help cover the surgery, hospitalization, medication, recovery care, and to help with what has already been spent.
I’ve already paid about $3,500 for his emergency care for fluids, X-rays, and stabilization, just trying to give him every possible fighting chance.
I know the holidays are already expensive, and with everything going on in the world right now, unexpected costs like this can really hurt. That’s why any help — no matter the amount — truly means the world to me.
If this emergency treatment fluid isn’t enough, he will still need the $6,000+ surgery, so every donation brings him closer to the long, happy life he TRULY DESERVES.
If you can’t donate, simply SHARING this page means just as much.
Thank you from the bottom of MY heart for your kindness, support, and love for Milo.
