Miguel Nava Sandoval has been a cherished member of our family and community since he was brought to the United States at just eight years old. Growing up in Ukiah, CA, Miguel worked hard to build a life here, applying for DACA as a teenager and seizing every opportunity to better himself and support his loved ones. He is a devoted parent, especially to his daughter, and his ambition and determination have always inspired those around him.
On July 14, 2026, our family's worst nightmare came true when Miguel was stopped, questioned, and detained by ICE. For hours, we had no news of his whereabouts, and when he finally called, it was to let us know he was being taken to a detention center. The shock and heartbreak have been overwhelming, but we are determined to do everything we can to bring Miguel home. His family depends on him, and we know that with the right legal support, he has the best chance to return to us and continue pursuing his dreams.
We are raising funds to cover Miguel's lawyer fees and related expenses, so he can have the strongest possible defense. From the bottom of our hearts, we thank everyone who supports us during these difficult moments. Your help means the world to Miguel and our family, and we are deeply grateful for any contribution you can make.
